Indeed Solidifies Position as #1 Global Site for Job Seekers: Traffic Nearly Double Other Sites

Indeed announced today that it had solidified its position as the #1 global job search site, with global traffic nearly double that of other job sites. Indeed attracted a record 180 million unique visitors in Q1 2015, up from 140 million unique visitors in Q2 2014. Indeed is currently available in more than 50 countries and 28 languages.

“Indeed continues to expand its global community of job seekers,” said Indeed SVP Paul D’Arcy. “As labor markets tighten in 2015, people looking for jobs are more in control of their destiny, and many are actively looking for their next position. With over 16 million postings, and 8.2 jobs posted every second, Indeed is the preferred job seeker destination.”

Indeed is also the choice of job seekers who choose to look for their jobs on mobile devices. The Indeed app has been downloaded over 46 million times globally, including over 20 million downloads in the US. Over 50% of Indeed’s traffic now comes from mobile devices, and Indeed is the number one iOS and Android app in over 20 countries, including the U.S.

In addition, Indeed is the preferred site for employer reviews with over 6 million reviews available. This is a value resource for job seekers, as 83% of people looking for jobs indicate that reviews influence their decision on whether or not to accept a position.
