WESTON, Mass. Monster (NYSE: MWW), today announced the launch of Monster Message Center, a new feature to help job candidates simply and efficiently manage communications they receive from employers. The Message Center offers secure, asynchronous messaging outside of personal email and telephone – the traditional tools used by recruiters – helping candidates store, organize, and reply to job opportunity messages in one place.
Communication between Monster users and potential employers is now a unified experience across a candidate’s inbox on Monster as well as their email client enabling simplicity and convenience for both candidates and employers. Candidates will be able to verify the validity of recruitment messages by logging into their Monster account where they can reply to and manage their messages while also protecting the privacy of their email address. Employers also have the same robust functionality of unified communications with Monster’s messaging tools that aid the employer in protecting the privacy of their email address, but also in supporting more effective tracking of ROI and source of hire.
“Monster is making significant advancements to our overall recruiting platform to improve the opportunities for connecting job candidates and employers,” said Matt Mund, Senior Vice President, Product Management at Monster. “By offering candidate and employer messaging in a simple interface, we create new opportunities for connecting people with jobs and address traditional frustrations in how the two sides of a job opening interact, such as reducing confusion about the origin of job opening inquiries.”
This capability is already available to all Monster users. Job candidates can simply click on the Message Center icon on the top right-hand corner of any Monster page.
