StepStone announced last week the acquisition of ictjob SPRL, with its sites ictjob.be and ictjob.lu which are claimed to be the leading job boards in Belgium and Luxemburg for IT professionals. StepStone, a generalist job site, wants to enhance its positioning in the IT recruitment sector in Belgium and Luxemburg with this acquisition.
Ictjob SPRL was founded in 2007 and ictjob.be has over 25,000 verified CVs from IT professionals in its database. StepStone acquired this strong IT player in order to provide the best possible solution in this important market.
StepStone and ictjob SPRL will continue to work as separate entities and provide services to their respective customers, however as from now they will share best practices in order to optimize both companies’ technological solutions and deliver even better results to recruiters and candidates.
The acquisition also includes the Luxembourg branch of ictjob. Jobs.lu, the subsidiary of StepStone in this country will benefit from the same synergies between both companies.
