The IT Job Board rebrands as Dice
Dice Extends Brand into Europe -Customers and Job Seekers to Benefit from Dice’s Data-Driven Technologies
Today, Dice, America’s leading digital career resource for technology and engineering professionals, has expanded its offerings into the UK and Continental Europe through the rebrand of leading European tech career site, The IT Job Board, to Dice.
In the U.S., Dice is recognised as a market leader in the tech recruitment space, with approximately 2.5 million unique visitors a month – more than a third of the estimated 6 million tech professionals in the U.S. – and around 85,000 tech jobs posted on its site at any given time.
In Europe, The IT Job Board is a highly-respected, tech industry-specific career site covering the UK, German and Benelux markets. It serves an industry that is increasingly viewed by European governments as being a key driver of economic prosperity across the region. According to the Tech City UK initiative, digital companies now employ 1.46 million professionals in Britain.
“We are pleased to expand the Dice brand into new markets by combining The IT Job Board under the Dice brand,” said Shravan Goli, Dice President. “Extending our services into Europe will better position us to grow relationships with our global clients, develop international clientele and, in an increasingly more competitive U.S. market, offer international talent solutions to our U.S. clients.”
Specific benefits that the Dice and The IT Job Board brand integration will bring clients recruiting in the UK and Continental Europe include:
- Dice #141 – a newly launched service that allows companies to reach relevant tech talent on Twitter. Through Dice #141, recruiters can send expandable, personalized Twitter cards, breaking through Twitter’s 140 character limit, enabling recipients to view full job details.
- Dice’s version of Open Web – a big data recruiting service that sources public information from over 130 professional and social media sites and creates professional profiles of individuals that are optimized for recruiters and hiring managers. Open Web holds over 13 million profiles of European professionals.
Meanwhile, in the UK, tech professionals will soon benefit from the new Seeker App set to release later this summer, which allows users to search and apply for jobs on-the-go through their mobile phone.
“We look forward to joining The IT Job Board under the Dice brand name,” said Jamie Bowler, Marketing Director, The IT Job Board. “We believe that the enhanced services, insights and reach we will now be able to deliver to both customers and professionals under the Dice name will allow us to best serve and grow with our customer base, while continuing to help professionals through the arc of their career.”
