Actonomy releases xMP 4.5 with interactive matching
Matching is the process of taking a profile description – such as a job description or a CV – and finding directly other profiles that match with the content of the description. In order to do this, Actonomy is using advanced language processing and extraction techniques combined with human like reasoning to define what is important and what is not. As such, Actonomy understands what is in the profile, classifies the profile and extracts the relevant content out of it.
An easy process for many recruiters as it is fast (no need to define your criteria!), easy and accurate!

It often happens that recruiters want to change the job description because they want it to be more specific, to have more skills in it, to describe better the job requirements etc.
With Actonomy xMP 4.5, we are introducing now interactive matching. The process is simple and allows you to do the following :
- upload the job description and let Actonomy extract the relevant information (work experience, skills, …)
- show the user the information/criteria that will be used for matching and if needed, let the user modify or add the criteria that will be used for matching – hence ‚interactive matching‘!
- match with candidates and get the details on why the match was made!
A fast, easy and efficient process : no need to specify criteria, possibility to modify the automatically extracted criteria and after matching get all the details on why the match was made!
The end of black-box matching – as it often happens with other matching solutions on the market!
