Blocket relaunches StepStone in Sweden

Sweden’s Blocket launched a new site for Stepstone in Sweden, with an improved search function and job ads that are content-richer, according to a media statement released by Blocket. The Schibsted-owned Blocket bought StepStone in Sweden early in 2014.
StepStone operates as a complement to Blocket Jobb, the jobs vertical of general classifieds platform Blocket.se, the dominating general classifieds site in Sweden – as well as in the vertical autos. Blocket now claims the combination of StepStone and Blocket makes Schibsted the biggest job site operator in Sweden.
StepStone alone has more than 400,000 jobs listed. StepStone focuses on jobs for professionals and senior managers.
The combination of Blocket Jobb and StepStone gives advertisers an opportunity to get their messages to over 80 percent of the Swedes who visits Blocket and Aftonbladet.se every week. The two sites are run by the same people, and have the same offerings.
